Background
Our story
Brothers Matthew Hankee and James Hankee started the company after seeing how much difficulty relocating professionals had finding housing that was genuinely ready — and how many San Diego property owners carried the cost of vacancy, turnover, and inconsistent management.
The model is straightforward. We lease homes directly from their owners on long-term agreements, furnish and prepare them ourselves, and place professional guests for stays ranging from a few weeks to several months. Owners get predictability. Guests get a residence rather than a room.
We operate a deliberately small portfolio so that every property is known, maintained, and personally overseen by the two of us here in San Diego.
